XTREMEM / SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE

Defence, logistics
and resilience.

Establish access faster. Support operations. Reuse the infrastructure. Permanent or temporary modular roads and platforms, configured for the terrain and support requirements.

Ground access. Logistics. Civil protection.

XTREMEM 54 SEC / EN

Construction time is part of operational readiness.

Make a useful surface available.

Mechanically connected modules form access roads and working areas. Depending on the ground and the design, this approach can reduce earthworks, imported materials and continuous ditches compared with conventional construction. Its value is assessed across the whole cycle: installation, targeted maintenance, recovery and reuse.

Three ground applications

Support infrastructure, multiple applications.

01 / ACCESS ROADS AND WORKSITES

Connect the areas that matter.

Facility access, logistics traffic and worksite routes: a modular surface can complement an existing network or serve a remote area.

  • Permanent or temporary roads.
  • Configuration for loads, traffic and ground conditions.
  • Targeted replacement of a damaged module.
02 / PLATFORMS AND CAMPS

Organize ground support.

Storage, handling and maintenance areas, building access and camp support zones: surfaces that can be adapted to the site layout.

  • Extend or reconfigure surfaces.
  • Mechanical connection between modules.
  • Recover assets at the end of their use.
03 / EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND CIVIL PROTECTION

Restore useful access.

After a disaster or when routes deteriorate, modules can help provide team access, supply routes and relief-support areas.

  • Access to communities and facilities.
  • Working surfaces for support teams.
  • Reuse for a subsequent response.

From initial installation to reuse

The whole cycle matters.

The comparison considers time and resources, conventional works that may be avoided and the cost of each phase. BST’s team assesses loads, ground conditions, service life and traffic.

  1. Deliver and install

Account for transport, handling, site-specific works and assembly in the schedule for making the surface available.

  2. Inspect and maintain

Plan inspections and individual module replacement when needed, including for permanent use.

  3. Recover and reuse

Evaluate dismantling, return transport, inspection and reuse at another site.
